Any borrow sites used will be developed so that the topsoil is removed and piled at the base of the slope to act as a berm catching any sediment that may be transported down slope. For most of the period during borrow, the slope will have a low basin at the base of the borrow area that can be substituted as a sediment pond, if needed, during a storm event. If applicable, all remaining spoils not sued during construction will be hauled off site and deposited in stable areas once construction is complete.
