Brush piles will be removed from the project site daily or placed daily into containers inaccessible to San Francisco garter snake. If brush piles remain on site and accessible to San Francisco garter snake overnight, the brush piles will be removed by hand to avoid injuring San Francisco garter snake that may take cover within.
