If one or more adult Smith’s blue butterfly are observed in the work area, work activities will temporarily cease unless the USFWS-Approved Biologist determines that impacts have been avoided or minimized to the greatest extent practicable.

If work is stopped and the USFWS-Approved Biologist needs additional guidance, USFWS will be contacted as soon as is reasonably possible.
