Projects requiring ground disturbance in known or potentially occupied suitable habitat for Santa Cruz long-toed salamander (e.g., isolated ponds) will require submittal of detailed project design information in the ESA Section 7(a)(2) Review Form for review and approval from USFWS. Not to exceed the self-imposed take limit of no more than five adults or juveniles injured or killed annually and no more than 5% of larval captures killed or injured per pond annually.
