Pile-driving Monitoring
An agency-approved biologist will be on site during pile-driving activities to minimize effects to special-status species that could be present. If any stranding, injury, or mortality to special-status species is observed, federal and state wildlife agencies will be notified in writing (e.g., via email) within 24 hours and in-water pile driving will cease until the applicable federal and/or state agencies provide guidance on how to proceed.
