Rehabilitate Disturbed Habitat

The stream bank will be planted with species that will enhance the year-round habitat value of the stream edge by providing adequate shelter, stability, complexity, and food production potential for California freshwater shrimp. Plantings may include widely spaced trees, willow sprigs and sedges near the water’s edge, and plantings of herbaceous plant species to fill in gaps and augment existing habitat.
