Protection Measures Selection Tool

The following measures will apply in suitable nesting habitat for the California least tern:

a. Access to work sites will be by foot travel only. If motorized vehicles, including allterrain vehicles, are needed at the work sites in suitable nesting habitat, a Qualified Biologist must be onsite.

b. Vehicles, including all-terrain vehicles, used for transport of personnel will be restricted to existing parking lots or roadside parking areas.
