If exclusion fencing will be installed, vegetation in active work areas outside of the exclusion areas will be trimmed and cleared to the ground using handheld tools (which can include handheld motorized equipment, such as weed whackers or mowers) to the maximum extent practicable, under the supervision of an agency-approved biologist, to discourage presence of species in the construction area.
